Ultimate Cap will be sporting a new uniform when he makes his return in Ultimate Comics: Ultimates #13.
In an interview with IGN, artist Billy Tan stated he designed the new uniform off of writer Sam Humphries’ description: “WWII roots, Iraq War-style chest armor, cargo pants, boots… a very military look in Cap’s way. He probably has to hand paint the ‘A’ on the helmet himself since he doesn’t have the luxury of having S.H.I.E.L.D. painting him a perfect one.”
I’m kinda digging the new uniform and I’ll probably be picking up this issue. Ultimate Comics: Ultimates #13 will hit bookshelves on July 25.
